Durham City Developments have been appointed as main contractor to carry out all works on this prestigious eco home development.
All work is being carried out by Durham City Developments, from civils, to construction, all renewable energy systems, M&E to roofing and all internal works.
The house will measure 890m2, and will be 90% self sufficient and 100% carbon neutral.
This is achieved through the development and utilisation of solar panels, ground heat source pumps and a wind turbine, which Durham City Developments are carrying out.
All surplus energy generated will be sold into the national grid, providing additional revenue and energy during the winter months.
In addition to all works being carried out by Durham City Developments, we have been appointed Project Manager.
